Swedish Cucumber Salad
Ingredients
6 cucumbers
3/4 cup wine vinegar
2 tablespoons cold water
1/3 cup granulated sugar
Salt and black pepper
1 tablespoon freshly chopped dill ( optional )
12 servings
Directions

Peel the cucumbers and slice thin. Place the slices in a basin
of ice water. When ready to use, drain and dry between towels.

Combine the vinegar, water,
and sugar. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour the mixture over the cucumbers.

Chill at least for an hour
before serving. Garnish with dill, if desired.
